Newberry College shows gratitude to Essex for earning Preseason Honors

Newberry College congratulates the junior center, Meg Essex from Glamorgan Vale, She was selected to the 2017-2018 All-Conference Preseason First-Team. She is a highly decorated player and has been on pre-and post-season teams for several seasons. During the 2016-2017 season she scored 385 points, had nine steals, 71 blocks, 25 assists, started and played in 26 games, totaled 160 rebounds (53 offensive and 107 defensive). Essex shows great sportmanship, hard work and dedication and that is the fuel she needs to push her to newer heights.
