Newberry College is proud to name Talya Stocksdale to Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.

A Mathematics major, Ms. Stocksdale from Pasadena, MD is a member of the Summerland Honor's program, Pi Mu Epilson, Pi Beta Lambda, and the Blue Key Honors Society. She is a math tutor, a member of the Newberry College Field Hockey team, the Green Team Recycling Club, and volunteers at Pawmetto Lifeline.

Following graduation, Ms. Stocksdale plans to bike from Baltimore, Maryland to Portland, Oregon with the Ulman Cancer Fund to raise awareness for young adults with cancer.
