Michelle Ling Elected Newberry Student Government Treasurer

Newberry College congratulates Michelle Ling from St. George, SC for being elected the new Treasurer of the Student Government Association (SGA). Ling is a psychology major with a Military Science minor and plans to graduate in 2019. Also, she also participates as a member of both the Newberry Wolves Women's Cross Country team and the ROTC program. She is excited to continue her involvement on campus as Student Body Treasurer. "SGA has always been of interest to me," said Ling. " The direct involvement with students really motivates me." She hopes to carry the leadership, discipline and communication skills, that she has learned through her experiences as a member of the cross country and ROTC programs into her position as Treasurer.
