Karley Young, from Kinards, SC was awarded The Joe and Jeffery McDonald Community Service Scholarshipfor 2015-2016 at the College's annual Awards Day Convocation on April 10.

The Newberry College Awards Day Convocation is held annually in the spring and celebrates the outstanding student accomplishments in academics, extra-curricular activities and leadership in campus life. Faculty and staff are also recognized for their contributions to campus life.
