Greenville Native Receives Senior Award in Biology

Lukas Gilmore of Greenville, MI received the Outstanding Senior Biology Award at the Department of Sciences and Mathematics annual Awards Day ceremony at Newberry College. Gilmore graduated in May with a major in Biology and a minor in Psychology. He is on the Dean's List and has been a recipient of the Outstanding Biology Major Service Award and the Wrestling Team Academic Award. He has served as a Library Assistant and as a tutor in biology and psychology. In the fall, Gilmore will enter the graduate program at the Grand Valley State University in Michigan to continue his studies to become a Doctor of Physical Therapy.
