A consistent option for Newberry, Essex shot 51.8 percent from the field and 59.7 percent from the charity stripe. She etched her name in Wolves' history in various categories with her impressive junior campaign.

For points in a single game, she is tied in that spot with her 34-point outburst at Lincoln Memorial. Her name also appears in the single game category for blocks in a game at eight and seven twice. In the single season category, she is tied for seventh at 475 points and owns the seventh spot for blocks at 54. Her 204 blocks places her at No. 2 in that category. Essex needs only 21 more to tie recent Half of Fame inductee Tiffany Johnson at 225.
