Dillon To Named Preseason All-SAC Second Team

Rachel Dillon, of Chesapeake Beach, MD, earned a spot on the 2018 SAC Women's Lacrosse Preseason All-Conference second team. She led the Wolves in points and shots last season with 58 and 99, respectively. During her sophomore season, Dillon earned second team all-SAC honors and ended the year tied for third for goals in the conference.

Newberry's women's lacrosse team was voted eighth in the 2018 SAC Preseason poll. The poll is comprised from votes from each team's head coach. Newberry received 22 points and finished ahead of Mars Hill. Queens took the top spot with 72 points.

Newberry's season opener is on Feb. 10 against Columbia College at Setzler Field beginning at 4:00 p.m.
