Della Senn received 2016 Student Ambassador Rookie of the Year Award

Della Senn from Pomaria received the 2016 Student Ambassador Rookie of the Year Award at Newberry College's annual Awards Day Convocation on April 8.

The Student Ambassador organization assists the Office of Enrollment Management by conducting campus tours and answering questions for prospective students. They support admission counselors with on- and off-campus activities and, too many new students, they are the face of Newberry College.

The Newberry College Awards Day Convocation is held annually in the spring and celebrates the outstanding student accomplishments in academics, extra-curricular activities and leadership in campus life. Faculty and staff are also recognized for their contributions to campus life.
