Brooks Allen Selected as a 2017-2018 Student Ambassador

Brooks Allen of Newberry, SC, has been selected to serve as a Newberry College Student Ambassador for the 2017-2018 academic year.

Student Ambassadors support the office of Admission, which is responsible recruiting new students and guiding them through the enrollment process. Although an unpaid position, Student Ambassadors have a high degree of responsibility and are invaluable members of the the Admission team.

As a Student Ambassadors, Allen is responsible for leading campus tours for prospective students, working with prospective students and families during Open House events and hosting prospective students as overnight guests during the College's Accepted Student Experience event. Ambassadors also provide administrative support for department projects and other recruitment efforts.
